Minimums: Certain tours will require a minimum number of passengers to operate at the listed rates. You will be advised at the time of booking if other persons are needed to guarantee the requested departure.
Payment: All payments can be made by cash, travelers check or credit card to Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary LLC located in Ketchikan Alaska. A credit card number and/or payment in full are required to confirm all reservations. Rates do not include gratuities or items of a personal nature. The management specifically reserves the right to adjust prices without notice, due to fluctuation in costs. Prices are quoted in US dollars.
Tour Changes and Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 14 days notice and no-show guests are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the date of service will be refunded up to 50%. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the date of service will be refunded 85%. Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover unforeseeable circumstances that may force you to cancel.
Delays and Weather: Prepaid tours canceled by the operator due to weather will be fully refunded. Tours typically cancel in the event of high winds and will operate in the rain. Any additional costs incurred in conjunction with your tour are not included. The management reserves the right to cancel or alter an itinerary, as current conditions require.
For Canopy Tours ONLY
Physical Requirements: These tours are designed for guests in good physical condition. All participants must have and be able to use all of their limbs. Guests with the following conditions may not be permitted to participate: pregnant women, guests with existing or recent injuries, limited use of their body parts, epilepsy or seizure disorders, back problems, and guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Weight and Height Requirements: Guests that do not meet the following weight and height limitations will not be permitted on the tour. Ketchikan and Juneau Canopy and Zipline Expeditions require a guest to be no less than 90 pounds (41 kg), no more than 250 pounds (113 kg) and be at least 60 inches (152.4 cm) tall. For the Bear Creek Zipline Adventure in Ketchikan, guests are required to be no less than 70 pounds (32 kg), no more than 250 pounds (113 kg) and be at least 50 inches (127 cm) tall.
Waiver Required: Before participating in a canopy tour, a waiver must be signed by someone over 18 years of age. If the participant is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver and accompany the minor on tour. A minor may participate with an adult over the age of 18 other than their legal parent or guardian as long as the person over 18 signs the minor's waiver and accompanies them throughout the tour.
Other Considerations: Participants should be comfortable with heights and guests with a chronic fear of heights should not participate. This tour is not recommended for those that suffer from heart disease, asthma or diabetes. Participants must be able to understand and follow instructions in English. All guests will be required to wear close toed shoes during the tour. Long pants and layered clothing are encouraged, but rain gear will be provided in the event it is needed.

Return Policy: Returns must be made within 90 days of original purchase. All returns and exchanges must be in their original packaging and with a copy of the original receipt. Returns will be processed in 7 days from the time of receipt. Please use the US Postal Service to return the item(s) and make sure to insure the package. Return shipping will be done at no charge if an exchange is being made. If purchase made with a credit card, the refund will be made to that same card. If purchase was made with cash or travelers check, a check will be issued and sent within 14 days.
